St. Augustine Beach is located on the northern end of Anastasia Island just east of downtown St. Augustine. St. Augustine Beach is popular among locals and visitors and is a great place to enjoy the beach, St. Johns County Pier, volleyball courts, bait shops, fine restaurants, shopping and more.
Like Daytona Beach, motor vehicles are permitted on the beach in designated areas for a daily fee of $6.00. Remember, no alcohol or glass is allowed and pets must be kept on a leash. Lifeguards are on duty on a seasonal basis.
St. Augustine beach is famous for miles of beautiful sand coupled with great weather year-round. Don't forget of visit St. Johns County Ocean Pier which is a four acre beachfront park with free parking, children's playground, picnic area, restrooms, a covered pavilion, refreshments and lighted beach volleyball courts.

7th Annual Taste of the Beach, May 20
St. Augustine Pier and Pavilion
Tickets are $1 and guests will use these to purchase taste size portions. Each restaurant will individually decide on pricing per taste (between $2 and $5). The event, sponsored by the St. Augustine Beach Civic Association, will feature signature foods from 14 island restaurants. Celebrity judges will sample the offerings to determine winners of Best Appetizer; Best Dessert and Best Entree categories and the prestigious award of Judges Choice. The community will vote for the People’s Choice. A free shuttle bus will run from Anastasia Square Plaza, at 1961 A1A South, to the Pier Pavilion from 12:30 to 6 p.m. Taste of the Beach will benefit Betty Griffin House. thecivicassociation.org
St. Augustine Beach Wednesday Market
Wednesday's, 8:00a to 12:30p at St. Johns County Pier, St Augustine Beach, FL
The Wednesday Farmers Market boasts a wide variety of purchasing options including but not limited to fruits, vegetables, breads, seafood, honeys, nuts, coffees, custom clothing, crafts.
There are two farmers markets held weekly on the island. The Wednesday Market, at the St. Augustine Beach Pier Park, is from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Saturday Market, at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, is from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Both offer seasonal produce as well as art and crafts, bakery goods, seafood specials and more.
FREE Concerts at the Pier Pavillion
From mid May thru September, weather permitting. We present free concerts each Wednesday from 7 till 9 PM. The concert series featureas a wide variety of music and prior to the concert a local restaurant makes dinner appetizers available. This is a family friendly event so bring your cooler, your beach chairs and join us for the 2012 Music by the Sea Concerts.
